Our society is much different compared to that of older generations. Our parents and grandparents had a lot more freedom then we currently do. The evolution of laws and regulations has put a stranglehold on many of our rights, therefore it is only natural that we become rebellious.

There is a lot more to being rebellious than simply going against the grain, rebelling can be accomplished in many other ways. For instance, if you see a property to rent Marbella you can simply choose not to buy it even if the price is lower than you anticipated.

We have seen many acts of revolutions and rebellion in our history, but one that really stands out is the student movement of the 1960's. This was a rebellion unlike anything we had ever seen before, and it was also a very costly rebellion that took the lives of many.

One of the biggest revolutionary groups in the European context was the Baader-Menihof Gang, or commonly referred to as the Red Army Faction. They were primarily students who garnered their extreme leftist views during the counter culture of the 1960s.

The Red army Faction were anti-bourgeoisie and anti-capitalist. This group did not care about the best French mortgages , they were more concerned with trying to end the reign of diplomatic democracy. (more...)

The internet provides us with many things and one of those things is freedom of speech. Within reason, we can go on the internet and say whatever we want, because of this new found freedom, rebels have taken the to internet by storm.

There are many different forms of rebellion in our society such as conspiracy theorists or revolutionaries. Appartements à Rome are not the subject of conspiracy theorists, instead it is the global stories that they focus on.

Our world is full of history, some of it is peaceful and some of it is hateful. Throughout the years we have seen many rebellions and revolutions, some are simply with words and others are backed up with violence.

The beginnings of a rebellion usually start when a group of people feeling that they are being oppressed. This can be through freedom of speech or perhaps because they were not included within a certain group. In some cases, rebellion can rise from racism, but it should be noted that they are two different things altogether.

Whenever we say no to something we are theoretically rebelling. It can be as simple as telling your friends you do not want to hang out or telling your girlfriend that you do not want a certain dish for dinner. Even the smallest things in life can be considered rebelling.

Our society is full of rebellions, not the ones that we are traditionally reminded of, but simple insignificant rebellions. Saying no to something, or wearing something that is outside of the social norm are all considered acts of rebellion.

A rebellion is generally defined as a simple refusal to accept some authority, law or code imposed by a ruling power. Of course, a rebellion need not involve physical violence or military action, as was the case with the Indian Independence Movement and their spiritual/political leader, Mohandas Gandhi.

Gandhi was a young lawyer who adopted the mantel of a religious leader in order to oppose British rule. The British had colonized the area in the middle of the nineteenth century and for decades they had imposed laws that resulted in the subjugation and abuse of the native Indian population. In effect, they became second-class citizens in their own country.

Then Gandhi arose and chose to oppose the Empire, not with fists or guns or violent revolts, but with a new philosophical practice he called Satyagraha. In short, it was a form of non-violent resistant that influenced other famous leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela. After the Revolutionary War the government of the United States was forced to impose a series of taxes in order to fund the national debt. One tax that angered residents in the western part of the country was the Whiskey Act. The reason for this was simple: the citizens in the west were not fans of the eastern-based federal government that seemed to do little for them except demand payment in the form of taxes.

The tax was especially unpopular with small farmers in the west, many of whom actually chased off tax collectors with threats of violence. The resistance to the new law continued for more than three years until a U.S. Marshal was sent to Pennsylvania to deliver writs to residents who had formerly refused to pay the tax.

This was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back, as five-hundred armed men later raided the home of the local tax inspector. President Washington reacted quickly and sent peace commissioners and Motivational Speakers to talk with the rebel farmers. He also raised a militia in preparation of further violence. (more...)

Office Christmas parties are a great way for workmates to get to know each other a little better in a fun, festive setting. But sometimes people take this freedom too far. In this article we are going to review a few simple steps that bosses and workers can follow to ensure that things don't get out of hand.

First and most importantly, you must limit the amount of alcohol. Nothing turns a nice fun party into a disaster faster that too much booze. Now, we're not saying that you have to have a dry Christmas party, but you certainly don't have to make the eggnog 80 proof. Try cutting back on the rum and only making enough so that each person can have three drinks. After all, three drinks are more than enough to get a little buzzed without actually getting inebriated.

Secondly, don't hang any mistletoe. Nothing leads to more conflict, misunderstandings and even charges of sexual harassment than that deadly little plant. This is particularly true if you supply too much alcohol. (more...)

The short of it is that people have simply had enough of their Government pursuing more and more ways in which they can violate the freedom and privacy of the citizens. They crow on about human rights and the like but at the end of the day they are inserting micro chips in your bins to keep tabs on you, or they are installing yet more cameras in every corner of this nation to ensure that we are all behaving ourselves.

It is therefore little wonder that, thus far, discreet movements are stirring up and down the country in a quiet attempt to turn back this unacceptable tide of totalitarianism.

You see, not everybody cares about living life like an android: where all you have to look forward to at the end of the year is Cheap New York hotels and places to sleep . A lot of people are more interested in one far more important thing than that - getting our freedom and privacy back! (more...)
